Assignment:
Muller Design has been tasked to make this sterile bachelor pad feel more like home. Client is a cool, sporty, 30-something that wants to have friends over and relax. Client would like to use existing furniture, but add to it with accessories, pictures, pillows, curtains, shades, and more — so that it feels more like home.
Style:
This bachelor is requesting a cool, sporty, active vibe. He loves blues, navy,, stripes, but nothing too abstract.
Wishlist:
Pillows, rugs, artwork, accessories, linens and ready made curtains throughout the condo. Nothing too expensive so client can upgrade house in near future.
Scope:
Stage and style the existing sparse furnishings and add to them where needed.
Timeframe:
Approximately 2.5 weeks, including quick deliveries and in person shopping at major retailers.
Budget:
$6000-$7000 total in furnishings, accessories and design team time of about 30 hours.
